Cornerstone Church

Was pioneered in 1998 out of the vision for the need for a local church that would preach and teach the truth of God “The Gospel” with compassion and power. We are a “ Full Gospel” organization believing and teaching the whole truth of the Trinity of “God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.”

Cornerstone’s Pastor

Pastor Darrell Garrett, co-founder and pastor of Cornerstone Church. Pastor Darrell has a clear and evident calling to preach the truth in love. It is Pastor Darrell’s vision to see lives changed as they hear, learn and live their lives according to the principles and promises of God’s word.

Cornerstone Praise

Cornerstone Church believes that we should honor and glorify God through music and singing. Our music and songs range from southern gospel and contemporary to heart warming hymns.

Cornerstone Youth

Bro. Rick and Sister Catherine Lineberry are the youth leaders of Cornerstone church. Having raised two teen daughters of their own Rick and Catherine understand the challenges of youth today. They not only understand that they are preparing Cornerstone youth for everyday life but also are preparing them to become the Christian leaders of our community for tomorrow.We have children’s church during the preaching and altar service. After praise and worship young children can retreat to a class that is designed to minister to them on their age level while you enjoy the preaching service in our sanctuary. We also have a cry room for the very little ones if needed.

Women’s Ministry

Sister Anna Garrett is the Women’s Ministry Leader. Sister Anna is the wife of Pastor Darrell. Sister Anna is known for her sweet Spirit and compassionate love of God. Our Women’s Ministry is designed to prepare the Christian Woman for the challenges of her life. Becoming a Godly woman, wife and mother are the goals of Cornerstone Women’s Ministry.

Cornerstone Ministries

Cornerstone Church believes that we should “ Go into all the world and preach the gospel”. We support through our giving: World Missions, Indian Missions and Home Missions. We also as a local congregation “go” into our community to reach the lost, hurting and the sick. We believe that the work of the church is outside the walls of the church and when we step off of the Church steps we have stepped into the mission field.

What to expect?

When you come to Cornerstone Church a smiling face that will make you feel that you belong will welcome you. Because you do, and there is a place for you at the house of God. The dress is casual and the atmosphere is pleasant with no stiff-necked religion. Be comfortable to worship as the Spirit leads you; we understand everyone worships at his or her own level.
